Renvy Warranty
What our warranty covers and what to expect if you experience a covered issue.
This policy explains how Renvy’s warranty works and what to expect if you experience a covered issue with your device.
1. Warranty Period
Unless otherwise stated on the product page:
- Device Hardware: 1 year from the date of purchase.
- Battery: 6 months from the date of purchase.
- Included Charger: covered against eligible defects during the applicable warranty period.
The warranty applies to the device purchased directly from Renvy and is linked to the original order.
2. Battery Coverage
Laptop battery performance is assessed using Renvy’s battery testing process.
For a battery warranty claim, Renvy may perform a Video Playback test under controlled conditions.
A battery that cannot provide approximately 2 hours of video playback under Renvy’s applicable test conditions may qualify for battery warranty service.
Actual battery life during everyday use can vary depending on brightness, applications, network activity, power settings, and other factors.
3. What Happens When You Make a Claim?
When you contact Renvy about a potential warranty issue, we may ask you to provide:
- Order information
- A description of the issue
- Photos or videos when relevant
- Diagnostic information or other details needed to assess the problem
We may ask you to make the device available for inspection or testing before determining whether the issue is covered.
4. If the Issue Is Covered
If Renvy determines that the issue is covered by the warranty, we will provide an appropriate resolution based on the condition of the device and the nature of the issue. This may include:
Repair
Repairing the affected component or device.
Replacement
Providing another device when repair is not reasonably possible.
Another Resolution
Providing another appropriate solution where applicable.
5. Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover issues resulting from:
- Accidental or physical damage
- Liquid or moisture damage
- Misuse or improper handling
- Unauthorized repair or modification
- Tampering with the device
- Damage caused after delivery
- Normal cosmetic wear
- Normal battery wear outside the applicable battery coverage
- Software or operating-system issues that are not caused by a hardware defect
6. Returning a Device for Warranty Service
If Renvy requires the device to be returned for inspection or service, we will provide the applicable instructions.
For an approved warranty claim caused by a covered issue, Renvy will cover the applicable return shipping cost.
7. Warranty After Repair or Replacement
A repair or replacement does not automatically create a new one-year warranty period.
The original warranty period continues unless Renvy confirms otherwise.
8. Warranty Limitations
Warranty coverage applies to the device and components originally supplied by Renvy.
Any issue that falls outside the scope of this policy may be handled separately and may be subject to additional costs.
9. Questions or Warranty Claims
To start a warranty claim, contact Renvy Support.
Please include your order number and a clear description of the issue.
